~Providing an Infrastructure for Resource Recycling along Commuter Routes to Work and School
(Head Office: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; President: Toshinori Ndama; hereinafter “Chiba Station Building”) and ECOMMIT Corporation (Head Office: Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture; President: Teruyuki Kawano; hereinafter “ECOMMIT”), which operates a reuse/recycle business for a recycling-oriented society, have announced a partnership. (headquartered in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture; Teruyuki Kawano, President; hereinafter “ECOMMIT”), a company that operates a reuse and recycling business aimed at reducing waste and contributing to resource recycling in the Chiba area, will install boxes for collecting unwanted items from PASSTO, a resource recycling service provided by ECOMMIT that collects, sorts, and redistributes unwanted items in a single step, at (outside) the ticket gates of JR Kaihin Makuhari Station from October 18 (Friday) through 31 (Thursday), 2024. The boxes will be placed outside the ticket gates of JR Kaihin-Kakuhari Station from October 18 (Fri.) to 31 (Thu.), 2024, for the collection of clothing.
This will be the first time that PASSTO boxes for collecting unwanted items have been installed at a station.
