Notice of “Secondhand Clothing Remake Workshop” using clothing collected by PASSTO at Kagoshima Museum of the Environment (March 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.))

On March 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.), Kagoshima Museum of the Environment Miraikan will hold a two-day “Used Clothes Remake: Let's Make an Original Silkscreened Clothing” event.

In this workshop, participants will silk-screen illustrations by popular illustrators onto used items that can still be worn, which are collected from the “PASSTO” waste collection box installed at the Kagoshima Museum of the Environment.
This workshop is one of the programs of “Miraikan SDG Festa,” an event themed on SDG 12 “Responsibility to Create Responsibility to Produce,” and aims to encourage participants to think about how the fashion industry, which is said to have a large environmental impact, can be more sustainable.

The experience fee is 200 yen per session (tentative).
You can bring in clothes you no longer wear at home.
