ECOMMIT, a resource-recycling business, was selected to represent the Kyushu region at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Japan and won the Regional Vitalization Leader category.

(ECOMMIT), a company that builds infrastructure for the collection and redistribution of unwanted goods for a recycling-oriented society, is pleased to announce that Teruyuki Kawano, CEO of ECOMMIT, has been selected as a representative for the Kyushu region of EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Japan (EOY Japan), an entrepreneur award program organized by EY Japan that recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs, in the "Regional Vitalization Leader" category. EY Japan is pleased to announce that Teruyuki has been selected to represent the Kyushu region in the Regional Vitalization Leader category of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Japan (EOY Japan), a program sponsored by EY Japan that recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs.
The awards are based on four criteria (Entrepreneurship, Purpose, Growth, and Impact), focusing on the long-term value that entrepreneurs have brought to society.
In the Regional Vitalization Leader category, the winners were selected for their achievements in the region, their various contributions, and their influence on Japan and the world through the creation of new and unique value originating from the region.
