November 2023- Join "Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance (JSFA)
2023.12.05
We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance (JSFA), an alliance of fashion and textile companies established to promote the transition to a sustainable fashion industry, as a full member in November of this year.

Our recycling rate for clothing is approximately 98% or higher*. Clothing that is difficult to reuse due to damage or soiling is recycled and returned to the market in collaboration with partners who possess recycling technology. Furthermore, remaining materials are also effectively used as insulation or solid fuel, and are recycled as resources to maximize the reduction of waste incinerated, thereby contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Through our full membership in JSFA, we will continue to further focus our efforts toward a recycling-oriented society in order to "fulfill a society that does not throw away waste.
*Varies depending on the time of year.
What is Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance?
The Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance aims to understand the impact of the fashion industry on the natural environment and society, to jointly develop solutions to common issues in the fashion and textile industries, and to promote the transition to a sustainable fashion industry with the goals of "zero fashion loss through appropriate production, purchase, and recycling" and "carbon neutrality by 2050". The objective is to promote the transition to a sustainable fashion industry.
Member companies meet regularly to share knowledge on sustainable fashion, collaborate toward zero fashion loss and carbon neutrality, communicate interactively with consumers, stay ahead of important domestic and international issues, and make necessary policy proposals to relevant ministries and agencies to improve common issues within the industry. We will make these recommendations to the relevant ministries and agencies.
